Properties: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, anti-viral, astringent, carminative, cephalic, decongestant, emmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, hepatic, nervine, stimulant, stomachic, sudorific, vasoconstrictor, vermifuge.

Use: Peppermint has been used extensively in both Eastern and Western medicine for many issues from indigestion, nausea and travel sickness, asthma, sore throats, colds, toothaches, to diarrhea.

It can help relieve skin irritations, clear headaches and is helpful for congested sinuses.

Blending: Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon, Rosemary.

Safety: Non-toxic and non-irritant, generally non-sensitising however the menthol content may cause some sensitisation. Not recommended for pregnant women or people who suffer from epilepsy or have a history of heart disease.
